I'm Rosebud Baden. Sixteen, Parisian goth elf according to my dad, and currently having a ludicrous existential crisis because my sister left for Stanford and took half of me with her.
The cure for that is vintage shopping in Venice. Instead of a cure, I find a middle-school girl buying a dress for a first date with a boy she met on Snapchat. My family has spent decades protecting the vulnerable from monsters, so I know that sometimes a boy from Snapchat turns out to be a grown man with prison tattoos and a waiting Lexus.
I could mind my own business. Here's the thing. This is the family business.
